Biography

Annie was born in Toulouse, France. Growing up in a close knit French family, her parents encouraged her unbounded expression of self and individuality. This transpired to be an appreciation for acstract expressionnist art as well as a natural talent for Mathematic and Computer Science. Annie gained a Master in both these subjects and taught them throughout France and Tunisia up until 1992.

In 1985 Annie pursued her other passion, Art. She attended Art classes in France and Germany, learning various techniques for painting and drawing.

Annie traveled and lived abroad in Tunisia, Germany and France with her husband and three children. Many of her earlier works portray an expression of realism seen in the day to day life of people, nature and culture of each country.

Annie and her husband moved from France to Los Angeles in 2006 to pursue their Internet business venture. During this time Annie has been inspired to create Californian influenced paintings.

Annie is renowned for her distinctive, bold and vibrant abstract and expressionist painting style with brush strokes, which smoothly and spontaneously flow across large or small canvasses.

Annie’s passion for the chaos and unpredictability which form the basis for expressionist abstract art and also mathematics are the grass roots of Annie’s unique and distinctive abstract and expressionistic style of painting.
